The term  energy described as a ability to do work . there are several form of energy in the world. the forms of energy is classified below
(1) Kinetic energy :-The energy of a moving object is known as kinetic energy. is denoted by 1/2mv2
where  m is mass and v is the velocity.
(2)Potential Energy:-The energy which a body posses as a result of its position int he earths gravitational field is known as a potential energy
 P.E =mgh
(3) Heat energy:-Heat is the intrinsic energy of all the combustible substances.
(4)Chemical energy:- Chemical energy is tied up  in fossil fuels such as coal, oil  and natural gas. Fossil fuels are used to generate electricity .
(5)Radiant energy:- Solar radiation is the example  of the radiant energy that is received on the earth
in form of radio waves and ultraviolet electromagnetic radiation.
